Graham Rosser is an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Comparative Biomedical Sciences at Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where his research focuses on infectious disease and parasitology. A Mississippi State alumnus, Dr. Rosser earned his Ph.D. in Veterinary Medical Science at MSU, completing a dissertation on the characterization of myxozoan parasites affecting catfish aquaculture in Mississippi.

Dr. Rosser’s work spans basic and applied parasitology, with particular emphasis on parasites of veterinary and aquacultural importance. His research contributes to understanding parasite life cycles, host interactions, and disease management in aquatic and terrestrial systems. He has been recognized by peers for his scientific contributions and dedication to student mentorship. Rosser contributes to the missions of MSU CVM and GCAHFS through diagnostic consultations for parasite identification, capacity building, dissemination of research findings, and development of lecture and laboratory materials.

At Mississippi State, Dr. Rosser teaches and mentors graduate and professional students, fostering the next generation of scientists and veterinarians. His commitment to research excellence and education reflects the land-grant mission of the university.
